Filter

I need some options! In sept I will be changing my filteration after a year and 1/2. I have been using a hang on Penguin filter with Bio Wheel, and a powerhead. I have a huge algae problem, and think that I should just change my filteration. I want a filter that goes under the tank with hoses that can go up the back and into the tank. I am looking at around $150 or so, and I will stop using the hang on filters. I started with the hang on bio wheel because my LFS told me to start with that. ***** has a Hagen Fluval 404 MSF Filter at $115 I was told this is an awsome filter! Here is the link with the specs please let me know if this is good. I have plenty of time for research... Thanks all!

I currently have a fluval 204 and running a Eclipse filter at the same time. and I LOVE it!!!!! the tanks always sparkling clean. Im upgrading the lighting to 130watt PC and I'll be removing the eclipes hood and running another fluval canister filter prolly another 204 or 304 not sure.but you cant go wrong with the that filter.well at least in my opinion.

I have a 29 gallon and the filter is easy to clean...lift up the close valve lever and remove the canister...of course, you'll wanna have some towels or a bucket just to make sure that theres no leakage!
