Hey Topfish,
As far as I know these guys are really nasty. The LFS I work at has gotten two of them in sice ive worked there and they always kill everything in the tank with them (i.e. pork puffers, blueline triggers, v tail groupers, and yellow tangs to name a few they have killed.) They are beautiful and would prabably work out wit htriggers and other aggressive and large fishes. just my two cents.

My friend had one of these and it was about 18" long. It was in with triggers (picasso, niger, undalate) and a panther grouper. They tend to do a lot of hiding in the lr as all other eels do until feeding time. Once it's feeding time he will become aggressive. Although his would never really bite the fish, it just put its mouth around them when they would steal the food from his area. Basically he was very agressive at feeding time but never really hurt anyone. There mean looking little critters though.

hmmm... Man I wish I could get that eel, but I guess i'll have to pass, don't want to get rid of fish as food.
