Thanks Mr Enigma... sometimes the DIY projects turn out better than the out of the box products!!
Kip, not sure yet. I'm not planning to setup a second stage and I plan to stop dripping kalk to see how it does. If the PH drops to bad then I will drip kalk in tandem with the reactor. I assume I will end up dripping kalk but we'll see.

Reefnut,
Very nice!! You have the identicle setup as mine right down to the Milwaukee PH Controller. I love my setup and have had no problems maintaining Alk & Ca. My PH stayed at 8.2 for the longest time then began to drop so I have begun dripping Kalk toraise the PH. Overall though I have been extremely happy with my setup. Just remember to get your levels where you want them before you hook up the reactor. That way you will be able to dial it in much more easily by gauging if your daily measurements for CA & ALK are rising or falling.

Kip, I'm thinking about shooting for around 440ppm and 11dKH. Sense I'm not pushing to hard I'm hoping to get away from the kalk but if not I going to go up to around 460ppm and 14dKH but all this is still only in the planning stage, I'll have to see how it all goes.
Mark, I think the only difference is I went with a 5lb CO2 bottle. Do you drip into your skimmer? I'm thinking dripping into the intake of the skimmer will help excess CO2 escape. Thanks for all your help!
I may do another post on the setup, progress, mistakes, etc for those that have not went through this before. And to also get some tips from those who have:).

This is what I'm "thinking"... no idea if it will help that much or not. I'm thinking of setting up something like this diagram to insure 100% of the effluent goes through the skimmer.
