well i was just letting everybody know i finally switched out that nasty CC. I took out all the CC that was collecting some nasty crap all over it and cleaned my LR from the cyano and added 30 lbs dry sand and 30 lbs LS. And my tank looks like a whole new setup!!!!! But right nw my fish are in a 10g holder tank till cloudiness goes away and i also changed at least 50%water after removing CC. Ill have pics soon....

What kind of nasty stuff was your substrate collecting, and follow back up in 60 days. If you have the same water params, I bet your sand will look the same.

i bet it wont consdiering i use ro/di water and before i used tap. i also added to jebao
Powerheads so now my flow rate is 1200 gph in a 55 not including my skimmer,and two filters. and that means i have at least 20X Flowrate in my tank.
