I have A bag of Julian Sprungs SeaWeed right in front of me and there are no ADDITIVES or VITAMINS ADDED, it say just 100%seaweed, but cost me $9 for 1oz, i can get 1oz from the local market for $2 and ingredients say $100 dried seaweed,,, to each his own though, Julian Sprung is just a marketing PLOY, just like buying cleaner clams from this site for $5.99 each, when you can buy them at the market for .50 cents/ each

I have all ways use the stuff from a LFS because it has extra vitemines ect. added that are good for the fish and not toxic, I have heard that some of the stuff you can get at a groceries store may have seasoning type stuff added that may be toxic for fish or the water and to only use what is called un seasoned, I have never got it from a grocerie type store, so, just in case.......might want to check it out...

tnx for the concern, dogstar! i would definitely check on that. i only thought to try it, i haven't thought. for my 3 tangs, regal, kole and yellow, i already have spirulina flakes and the dried algae that we can buy from our LFS.

Its a Tomini Bristletooth that I've had for a little over a week now. It's not thin, and I have seen it poop when each time I've added garlic soaked food to the tank (could this be the garlic making it poop?), but it has yet to actually eat the foods I put in there. I do see it pick here and there though on the glass.

I have a red sea sailfin that loves the nori from the grocery store.
I tear it into the size I want and put into a tupperware bowl with a lid and place a capful of garlic guard and a capful of vita-chem and shake it up. The nori doesnot fall apart but does soak it in, you'll have to experiment with the amount of nori to put in with the suppliments so it won't fall apart, but it does work well.
