have been wanting one for a while and got one sunday! He is about 4 inches long and i put him with a valentini puffer and a lemonpeel angel. So far so good but I don't know how often I should feed him. He wouldn't eat the first 3 days so the lfs sold me some cheap little fresh water feeder fish and he gobbled them right up today. I read that you should not feed them fresh water food for a long period of time because of liver problems so what does everyone else feed and how often? thanks!

They will even eat formula foods for your other fish in time. Congratulations on the new fuzzy! They are awesome fish. Variety is key.

Mine eats pretty much everything now, including formula 1. But his favorite is raw shrimp and krill. But I also feed silversides and squid.

3 ghost shrimp once every 4-7 days. I brake a bamboo skewer in half and use a splinter as a handle to pierce the ghost shrimp. Do this for about a month. Once the lion reconizes the skewer as food you can try putting krill on the end. If he hasnt feed in a week he should go for the krill.
