Well I finally got a true perc that i have been searching for

I got a few ORA acros as well
Sorry for the crappy acro pics..My macro lens wont be back from teh factory from getting fixed till monday so i had to crop these ones kinda tight

no thats actually a tri color acro. it just grew flat for some reason in my buddys tank and I broke a piece off to put in mine..its starting to grow upwards some now
here is a shot of that flat Tri color acro

Nice grab, I have those also, and I just picked up one of the LE Pearlberry Acro and a Hawkins Blue Enchinata from ORA yesterday. I really like the stuff from ORA, usually does very well for me. The Anacropora I got is a little finicky. Good luck with them, I hope they do well for you.

yea they had the ORA Pearlberry there to..It was $100 a frag and I wasnt paying that much for it

If you're ever over in my area, I'll frag you a piece for a lot less than that. I got mine for about 40 less. The two Dr.s was asking 129 for a 1" frag of those. The Roscoe's is one of my favs, it is always very bushy looking. What am I saying, they are all my favs. Have a good one, and seriously if you do make it over this way send me PM or something maybe we can trade some stuff, I'm always up for that, just not into shipping and the possible hassles that can go with it.

sounds good..although those Pearlberry and all the ORA at the LFS i get them from are about 2" or better
yea that roscoes is very bushy looking

Yeah, most of the time they are nice size(usually bigger than listed), but sometimes they are what they say. Most of the frags from ORA that I have gotten have been pretty nice and oversized too.

Definitely was a pass for me. I do love my hawkins "echinita", phil's granulosa, and the Dustin's deepwater. I also got the new oregon tort but it's not doing well at the moment

Nice corals- I just got a new chips as well; my frag is so big it's almost a mini colony. Got to love the ORA stuff.

well i stopped at another store and they had a bunch of true percs..So I got my little guy a partner. Its kinda cute the first one I got earlier instantly started to follow it aroudn the tank like a little boy in love. they seem to have taken to each other fast. It doesnt have the dark like the other because its not as mature but you can def tell its atrue perc from the eyes. You can see the orange ring mainly around the black..False percs have pure black eyes

True/false perc - what's the difference ?... and how can ya tell? is one more expensive than the other?

true percs look like my first one I posted. alot mroe black and look alot nicer
there are things to look for when they are still young. like the amount of dorsal spines and eye color.

I think your second clown is a fasle percula too, True perculas usually have wider black bands between their stripes.
