what does it mean? you like cupcakes?
LoL, I actually quit my job as a veterinary technician in February to go to pastry school and then I opened my own cake design firm. I got this tattoo to celebrate the new beginning - and yes, my obsessive love of cupcakes

Nice tattoo! Beautiful colors! I'm getting my first one in a week, a clownfish on my foot. I'm freaking out about the pain. Is it really that bad?
I've had four kids and I'm all worked up about a little tattoo.....

ur side and ribs r apparently the most painful place to get one. well, that seems to be the general consensus, anyhow
I know lots of pple w/ink on their feet and most of them say they were barely uncomfortable unless somethig had to be near their ankles. apprently ankles hurt a lot, too.
either way - it's all part of the experience, and if uve already had kids, ur good to go :)
also... just a bit of advice, do NOT take advil or aspirin before you go for your tattoo - these medications thin out your blood and will cause u to bleed more than normal during your tattoo, and they will also cause you to bruise. DO take aspirin or advil AFTER your tattoo, as these medications are anti-inflammatory and will greatly benefit your swollen skin. I also STRONGLY suggest you stock up on icepacks - i wish I'd known about it before, but after this last sitting i held ice-packs on my tattoo and had virtually NO pain afterward AT ALL.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!! DON'T 4GET TO POST PIX!!!!

Thanks! I'll post pics! I guess I never thought about having pain afterwards, but I have ice packs. I'll take some advil when I get home too.
