Jaws was filmed there , right?
Original Jaws
But 2 (Pensacola) and 3 (Orlando) were filmed in Florida.
I can't imagine living away from the Ocean. Born in Sanford, Florida. Moved to the Pugent Sound, Washington State---then Maryland---then Rota, Spain right smack on the Mediteranian--Pesacola,Fl---then Tampa, Fl.
My heart pumps salt water better than blood.

I haven't been to the ocean in awhile, don't ask why since I live close enough to it. I can't wait to go again though!!! I am headed to NC at the beginning of June. It is so nice there

I've seen 2 ft of snow fall overnight(when I lived in NY), seen real mountains(Adironacks and Catskills), seen Niagara Falls multiple times and now live 20 mins from the ocean. I guess I should consider myself lucky. Still need to see the desert though.....time to hit Vegas baby!

My cousin lived there for a few years. She did party it up, but came back to NY.

Been at the ocean for as long as I can remember. However (at 22) I have yet to see snow thicker then a dusting.
So don't feel too bad.
If I could melt all the snow Ive seen I would have an ocean. ughhh.
I would trade a day with you if I could. but its still home.

i didn't make it to the ocean til i was 20 i think and it just reconfirmed what i already knew - i'm a lake person!! pinched by a crab, dragged by the current and a hurricane to go with it...i'll stick to what i know...scared the crap out of me too walking on the boardwalk at night and seeing nothing but black. it was like the end of the world!

Thats insane to think about really...I live in Atlanta and see the ocean about 3 weeks out of the year every year....
Just kinda odd to think of all the people that havent seen it ever...

No way! I trust the ocean so much more. I know
what's in there. However that murky lake could anything. Being bitten by a snake or have my achilles taken out by a snakehead.

nah the lake i go to is a man made lake that they stock every year. nothing to worry about in there except maybe a trout or two and they're usually all caught by mid summer anyways! i prefer jetskiing on waters with things in it that can't eat me, bite me or sting me

I am so spoiled living so close to the beach. I have a few secret spots around town. Sometimes I'll sneak out with a guitar and sit on the rocks at night just to get away for a bit. I Love this town!!!!
