Finally setup QT. ?'s

I finally got my QT going a 46gal bow

I filled it full of new RO water and added a Mag 350 from my DT yesterday. The only thing in my tank is a few pvc pieces. I have a little clown in my DT that is getting picked on and would like to move him asap. There is nothing in my tank that needs to cycle right. I should be able to test my water and get the little guy in today. Just want to make sure before I kill something.

Why do you think you don`t need to cycle it ? You put new RO water in it and a filter from your DT . Still need to cycle the tank , unless you use the water from the DT with the filter .

Ok, thanks for the advice. I was thinking the bacteria from the filter would be good enough. It is not a problem to let it cycle. I will just be patient.
