finally got my water to 14ppt actually it is at about 13ppt. So you can tell that i am doing hypo, well i was wondering how long to hypo the tank since my three remaining fish have no signs of ick....the ones that were obviously in troubled died before i could hypo the tank. im asking b/c most say 4 weeks after all visible signs of ick on the fish are gone....not sure what to do.

o it also took me about 4 days to get it to 13ppt (100g DT) didn't reallt know how big of a water change to do

Take a full week for ich to go through its life cycle? (I think). 2nd week to kill off any of the offspring from the 1st week. 3rd week to kill any offspring from 2nd week. 4th week to make sure it's all, completely, dead.
The life cycle is dependent on temperature, higher temp=faster life cycle. I don't suggest messing with your temperature though.
Did you gather the chicken blood and do the "ich be gone" dance too? I hope so....

After all signs of ich are gone begin to count three weeks. Is this in a qt or the display?

What is your specific gravity reading? As long as the fish do not get ich, 3 weeks. If they get ich, then 3 wks from the date that you last see ich. Ich can hide well, so be looking at your fish well daily using a magnifying glass.
