You'd need a huge tank, probably 200 gallons. Even then I doubt you could keep the Moorish Idol.

I don't know where you live, but at Underwater Adventure in the Mall of America they have a 'Nemo' tank, with a Moorish Idol. I posted this and someone remarked that they wondered how often they were removing and replacing fish.....great point. My cousin used to work there, but I can't ask him about it as he's in Iraq right now. Maybe a huge tank and a divider with the Moorish Idol on it's own side? I dunno. Don't forget
Wannahockaloogy!!!!!!!!!!
My advice to someone else who wanted to do a 'nemo' tank for their child was to get the clown, and what ever else is compatible with it....then let the child pick out some other compatible fish and create his own 'nemo' tank, and pratice some creativity...but you didn't say if this was for a child or not.
Best of Luck!!!!

BTW, as beautiful as they are....I read a Moorish Idol won't live long in captivity....a year or so. PRO's, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

weeks if your lucky.
Without "Gill" and "Bloat" you could do it in a 125. Gill will die and Bloat will eat anything small. For a child I'd take loopy's advice.

my tank started as a nemo tank for my boy and just keep going and going.had to learn the hard way at first.so do as much research as you can, but it was a great hobby to get into with him,and it became alot of fun.but alot of $$$$$$ if you don't know what you are getting into.

only difference between a heniocus and idol are:
a) the nose on the idol is pointy, as the heni's is round
b) the heni will live much longer

c) If your tank is big enough, you can get a school of heni's and they won't fight
