Finding Nemo, the movie

My son watches Finding Nemo at least 4 times a day, and he still cracks up at the same parts. (he is 2) Anyways did anyone else who saw the movie ever wonder why the tank in the doctors office is set up like a freshwater tank, with colored gravel, fake plants, all the bubble makers, the kind of filter they use, and so on? Everytime I catch a glimpse of that tank, I wonder why they did that. Sorry, had to vent, I am one of those weird people who let silly little things like that bug me.

I think because if they set it up like one of our beautiful saltwater aquariums, there would be a lot of people who actually like the tank.

I finally saw that movie the other week. Dentist office tanks are supposed to distract the patients, dentist that treat children decorate their tanks with things that distract children. The thing that bothers me is why would someone want to have a salt water aquarium after seeing that, especially with a Percula Clown? Did they completely miss the whole plot of the movie. It's like watching Bambi and deciding to become a hunter.

I did like the movie though. When I was a kid I really really wanted that volcano but it was way too expensive. I wonder if Penplax and Marineland paid to have their products in that tank.
BTW, does anybody know where I can get a Dalmation fur coat?

I never thought of that. I have however thought of making Mount Wannahackaluggie out of DIY LR and recreating the tank with sand. Then I ran out of beer and went to bed.
