its acrylic, silicone wont work...if you put it together right it wont leak.... by the way..it looks REALLY good...im in shock you did sucha good job your first time.

thanks alot chris.. imputting it under my stand tonightwith my cs8-2 skimmer ill have pictures tonight of it and i should be getting LOA light in the next couple days if not today and have that setup to take pics..

mike, something you might want to look at running in that refigum is a product called miracle mud...the stuff is extremely expensive...but its amazing
30 pounds cost me $210 ...but seriously ..take a look into it...your tank will run more healthy then you've ever seen!
the product i use for my refigum is called a ecosystem ...model 3612 ...yours looks similar to mine...
