I'm really not sure as to how to describe this but i'm going to give it my best shot. . .
I have a dwarf lemonpeel angel fish.
I've had the fish for about a month and a half now.
It was doing fantastic and i still think that it is, but the top and back fins are conserning me. . .
I know that the lemonpeel loses its blue on its fins but i doesn't look like that. . .on his back fin it looks as if something took a chunk out of him, but i dont know what would? and the top fin looks like his fins have been cut shorter?
Does anyone have any idea of what i'm talking about?
Any suggestions?

that would be very odd if nothing else were in the tank with it but since that probably isnt the case (atleast i hope not:nervous: ) what else do you have in the tank that might have got the munchies for a little taste of fin??:D

Yes, the top fin starts out full in the front with a light touch of blue and then the fin slightly drops (nothing that is dramatic) and thier is no more blue. The fin looks strong though.
The back fin is what worries me more. . . it has 2 tiny half circle chunks missing and i have no clue what that would come from.
I'm not worried about my clowns because they have no violent interations.
If anything it would be worried about my clowns because they still do the matting dance. . .even after a year of being together.

All I can tell you is that my yellow tang has that unicorn looking top fin. for some reason or another some fish get that. I have had him for over a year and he is perfectly fine and healthy. I would defenitly be worried about the back fins. Sounds like agression. where does he sleep? maybe a hermitt crab took a little off his tail accidently. I dont think a perc cold do anything.

Its defeinitely the clowns. They can bite, believe it or not. Are they hosting anything in the tank> it could be terriorial reactions or sumthing like that. They can make some neat bite marks though, and fisn arent hard to bite through...
