Fire shrimp

I have one fire shirmp on my tank, he is doing well, but I would like to see him more often, I only see him when is feeding time.
Is it true that having more than one make them more active, and willing to go out of their cave ?

They are sly little devils. My 2 Pacific's are out a lot the fire or blood as it is sometimes called hardly ever comes out from behind the rocks in the reef tank they are in. At dinner it will appear grab some food and be gone again.
