Fire Shrimp

I put my fire shrimp a week ago and haven't seen it since. Is it possible that my Emerald crab killed it? I mean not even a glimpse of the shrimp.

I have Damsels, clownfish and Tangs this is so weird. No sign of the shrimp.

Blood shrimp are notorious for being nocturnal. After lights out wait and hr. Use a flash light and look. I bet you see it

Thanks for the tip, the tentacles were connected to the filter in the tank. Not sure if it died right away and was eaten. We moved everything around and its not there.

Shrimp will molt so it is possible that the piece you see is part of the molt, I would still look for it when the tanks dark with a flashlight
