FIREFISH help

Just wondering if firefish lay in the sand lots? 1 out of my 3 fish always lays in the corner behind a rock and never moves, I always think he is dead and stuck but he always comes out when I feed.
Is anything wrong, or would this be normal?

My Royal Gramma does that too, it always looks dead but if I stick my hand in my tank it jets away. Also, it sleeps almost upside down inside a rock. Crazy fishes...
