i have had 2 firefish for about 2 months now
they were with
a rusty angel
maroon clown
and ember blenny
then i got a
yellowtail damsel
and a tasmanian devil damsel
the yellowtail is too small to do anything
but the taz would always pick on one of the 2 firefish
then only the one that was slow enought to pick on
so i got rid of the taz
then the rusty angel died and the hurt firefish would come out not alot and the other firefish would try and find her
and the hurt one would never come out so i moved him to my QT
he hid for about 5 days and then was out all the time for a week in there
then i put her back in the display and for 2 days they were together and now they are hiding alot
the once-hurt one comes out some but the other barely comes out
is there anything i can do?
i dont have room in my QT because i have a new small sixline wrasse and royal gramma

Please mention tank size. The first thing I would do is trade the Maroon for any other clown. They can get very aggressive.

75 gal tank
im not getting any more fish
the maroon clown has been in the tank for 6 months and hasnt attacked a fish yet, not even when feeding time , all he does is swim around the whole time
i know they can get aggressive, but this one was with cardinals and different angels for 3 weeks and didnt show any problems

Being in with Cardinals and Angels when your wondering why your Firefish hides is apples and oranges.

the clown was in the cardinals and angels at the same time, including a female bellus angel and french angel
