firefish male or female?

The one that seems to have mood swings, complains alot and spends most of the money -- Thats the Female!!!

there really isn't much of a difference between them. i got a pair but got them at the same time and picked out 2 that were hanging close together in the tank (that was luck). if he puts them in the tank and they get along fine but if they pick on each other take one back. i did read that the males top fin can be longer than a females but you have to look relly close maby he can pick one out that way.

i had 4 and they all just cruised around. one seemed to be the least loved of them all but they all slept together in one rock. it is the silliest thing , this one rock has alot of holes in it, so come night time they all line up and go into the rock. just wierd
