fireshrimp with other shrimp

i bought a fire shrimp to day from my respectable lfs along with a large orange monti cap. he says that it will be ok for a fireshrimp with cleaner and coral banded shrimp and 2 minutes after i drop the cleaner shrimp my coralbanded and my large clarki clown attack it no harm done yet but i hate to loss my fireshrimp.. any suggesstion , comment , with be apppreciated thank you

try placing a piece of krill right in front of the coral banded shrimp during feeding time to ensure he gets his fill. This will reduce his aggressiveness.

did you turn the lights off before you dropped him in?

They felt it invaded their space, but move rocks around and that should confuse them and seek new areas to take over.

CBS are notorious for killing other shrimp and small fish. Not all but there are a lot of horror stories on here.

how big is ur tank? i hv a cbs with 4 cleaners. they are a bit aggressive, but given a big tank and enought lr, they should all be ok eventually. fireshrimp likes to hide in the rockwork anyway.

my tank is 225 the fireshrimp is okay so far i think they just telling it who's the boss in the tank
