Hello,
I'm coming up to the time where my tank is able to have corals and the water is near perfect, I'm just wondering what Corals are easy and simple to keep for a beginner, I currently have 2 Lemon Damsels, 2 Yellow Tail Damsels and a Pair of Ocellaris Clownfish and also Cleaner Shrimp?
Suggestions?

thanks,

Sofies and zoas tend to be the "easiest". What is your lighting? Lighting really dictates what you can keep.

T5 HO and how many watts over what size tank?

We would need to know what type of bulbs you're running (Power compacts, metal halides, T5HOs, etc) and what the wattage is. How large your tank is, specifically how deep it is also is significant.
For beginners, I recommend common zoanthids (aka zoos), mushrooms, xenia, polyps, and other soft corals. Steer clear of too many leather corals if you plan on having any SPS corals later on.

From the information I have provided, any chance I could have some names of corals so I could have a look around for them?

From what you describe, you have fish only lights. Corals that require no light or very low light, such as mushrooms, gorgonians and sun coral (must be spot fed, not really a beginner coral). That does not mean you can't have a great looking reef, but you will have to do lots of homework and be very diligent on care. I am attaching a couple of pictures of some really nice low light reef tanks.
For information’s sake....The Damsels are going to fight each other to the death, when mature they will bite your hand and draw blood. Now, before you have corals is the time to remove them.
I say this just in case you didn't know about their aggression before, and decide to get them out....you will have to break down the whole tank almost to catch them.
