Cover any tiny gaps in your top. I had one do extremely well in a QT for two months. He went into the DT an had all the room that he wanted. The QT had a towel to cover the gaps in back. I figured the DT would be fine. He was good for a few weeks in there, then found a way out. I found him after my cats had played with him a bit. It was not a pretty sight.

i got a 28g nano with the lid on and as far as i know the only hole my lid has is the feeding lid that flips up. ive been thinking of a way to add a weight to the feeding lid to make it heavier or some sort of locking mechanism lol that way even if he did jump and by chance was gonna hit the feeding lid it wouldnt budge.

well here he is after i floated him for about an hour and drip aclimated him for like an hour and a half to two hours.
after i put him in he stayed put for like 2 minutes and then he got right to work sifting through the sand, and hasnt stopped yet.
pretty nifty little thing, now just gotta see where he decides to dig a home out near the rocks.

Make sure all of your rocks are sitting all the way down on the glass bottom and have no chance of shifting from him digging under them. I have one of these gobys, I love him, but digs caves all over the tank, not just one.

I have a love/hate relationship with my DG. They are very cool to watch, and mind their own business for the most part, but they are very sloppy housekeepers. They keep the tank looking like a sandstorm 24/7, move mounds of sand all over the place (including on top of any low lying corals, and they dig caves under every rock in the tank.
