First Fish Problem Please Help

Hello Everyone,
I am encountering my first Disease (hopefully not) in my tank. I currently have in my tank 2 Clarkii Clowns, A tomatoe Clown, Koran Angel, Red Sea Sailfin, Diamond Goby, and 3 Stripe Damsel. The problem is with the Larger of the Clarkii clowns.
He has a red bump on his forehead looks like a pimple. He also has some wierd discoloration in his face. not ich or flesh degredation just a different color. I have not decided if this was a drastic change or maybe it happened over a period of time and I never noticed cause I never looked that close. He has deffinatly changed from yellowish orange to almost completely brown (except for the belly) since I got him 3 months ago.
Anyway he has the red pimple on his forehead, He is breathing heavy, he is not aggressive during feeding anymore, (I feed them frozen brine but he hasnt wanted to get in the frenzy with the rest of the fish recently so I feed him flake on the other side of the tank), he also seems to have lost some coordination. I saw him swim right into the glass this morning.
I have checked for signs of Ich since this seems to be the most common disease. None of the other fish are showning any signs of abnormality.
This strange behavior has started to occur since I added the red Sea sailfin. Before the sailfin he was the dominant fish in the tank. The sailfin I added is larger. Is it possible that this is just stress from loosing the dominant role. The sailfin was added almost 2 weeks ago.
Also I do not currently have a QT soes this sound like a disease that could be contageous, do i need to rush out and setup a QT to save the rest of my fish.
I will post pictures and water stats later tonight.
At the last reading they were
Temp 79
Salinity 1.0225
Amonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20ppm
PH 8.1
Calcium 400
Thanks Guys
Brian

what is the volume of your tank? Dimensions?
Do you have corals or anemones? He may have been stung by something...
2 species of clowns in the same tank very frequently leads to aggression - especially as the fish age. Perhaps it was bitten?
I am not certain, but I think that your pH might also be a bit low... typically I see 8.2-8.4 with most of the people here - but you'll want someone who knows better to check on that.
Good luck with the little guy..post pix if u can, that always helps.

It is a 55 gallon tank standard size, 40 lbs live rock. No corals. The tomateo clown was roughed up a little a while ago but that agression seems to have subsided. The one that is in question was the aggressor during that time. I spoke with my LFS and told him about the color changing aparently they will change color if they are stressed out. He used to look just like the clarkii clown on this website. NOw he almost looks like a cinamon clown. I mentioned that he lost his dominant role in the tank. That may be what stressed him out. But we all know stressed out fish can get sick so i am wondering if that is what happened or if it is just a wierd coincidense and the bump is nothing.

Roughed up how? Which fish attacked him? The tang?
Doesn't sound like ich so I doubt you need to worry about him being contagious.

He was never attacked he was the attecker, before I put the tang in there he was picking on the tomatoe clown but they are ok now there wasn't any current aggressions.
I bought a QT last night and he is in there now. I got some stress coat, and bottle of API's Melafix. Used for replacing slime coat, healing pop eye, open wounds, sores, and damaged fins.
Anyone know of any food I can get him that would be irresistable. I tried feeding him this morning and it didnt even phase him.
Symptoms are: He is swiming fine but he has been spending a moderate amount of time at the water surface. He is still breathing extremely heavily, he wont eat, he still has the red bump and his eyes look buldgy (not as bad as I have seen in some picutred but not normal.
Thanks for the help people.

Brain, are you certain that this fish did not get into a fight with the tang? Tangs have some serious weapons near their back fin that can do some real damage.
