Gonna get around to chopping this baby up when I get some time off work here in december. There are probably 100 or so polyps around the bottom of this rock so im thinking 4 or 5 nice sized frags

So the fragging is done and I am quite mad since I didn't realize until after I started that my girlfriend had taken our camera with her to work tonight. So Pictures will be up later. Made two nice frags of about 20-30 polyps each and then took about another 50 and attached them to another rock that already had some zoos on it. Just a couple quick notes from the operation:
1) Getting zoos off of porous live rock can be a pain.
2) I don't think you can kill them if you try.
3) Extra glue is a good thing
4) Have the camera ready or at least in the building and
5) Its actually quite easy to do if like all thinngs you just research it first

yeah that sums it up rather well. usually if a rock is porus i just break the rock instead of peeling it saves a lot of work.

I'm amazed how hardy they are, I was diggin at them with a knife and tugging on those suckers and sure enough every single one of them opened up this morning before i left for work. Unfortunatly my glue job on one of the frags wasn't good and it floated off, however it wedged itself on another rock so will it just attach itself to this one after a couple of days?

They aren't talking about incidental touching or when moving things around. When fragging zoos and other leathers things get pretty messing with slime. The slime is toxic. You putting your hand in the tank and moving things around and accidental rubbing against it isn't a major health risk.

it will eventually attach it may take a week or tweo for it to start growing but it will attach on its own as long as it doesnt get dislodged before then.
