First frags!

I just picked up my first 2 frags today. I'm not quite sure what their proper names are just yet. They have neon green polyps. As soon as I placed them in the spots I wanted them, my curious peppermint shrimp came over and started picking on them. It almost looked like they were popping the polyps. I fed them some mysis to occupy them for now. Were they trying to damage it or just cleaning it?

Probably just investigating and seeing if there were any treats in it...LOL
How about a picture????

Maybe tomorrow after they acclimate, right now they're still "bunched up". I also picked up a spider conch.

I didn't find out what they are, but I liked them. If you have any ideas, I'd be glad to hear them.
Here they are:

Wow, you're good!
I haven't placed them permanently, I'm waiting to get some epoxy. I have them on opposite sides right now, I think that's where they'll stay. Do you have any recommended reading on feeding and care of them?

What type of lighting do you have?
I have both, and I rarely spot feed them.....They eat what I feed the tank....NOW YOU CAN spot feed them if you want them to grow faster. The candy canes should show little tentacles...I belive at night, OR maybe when they smell food..LOL....then you can just place a bit of food on it and it will stick....The frogspawn will not, BUT you can blow some mysis its way every so often

I have two 36" WavePoint H-5's units end to end with 4 bulbs each, 2 Sun Wave and 2 Super Sun Wave (2 white 2 blue). So 8 bulbs total. While we're on this subject, are you supposed to add up the wattage to find out how much light you have or how exactly does that work?
I also placed my corals as high as I could, one being about mid height, and the other about 3 or 4 inches below the water line.

Watts is not what matters anymore, it is the PAR of the lights, and I am NOT the one to explain that...LOL
you have a 125G, is that correct? (per your profile)...Not too familiar with those bulbs, BUT you may need to keep higher lighting requirements up top...where you have them may be ok
maybe someone with more lighting expertise can help out on that one
