Hey guys. Im setting up a 40 breeder tank, and i put in some live rock, and i noticed what looks to be a realy small green-eye button polyp. I had the live rock in there for probably 2 weeks or so before i noticed it. I have 192 watts of PC in a 16.5 inch tank. so i was jsut wondering, what do these little guys need to reproduce and thrive? He is only about 2-3 mm long and is dark green with a neon green center. Do i need the feed him? What additive should i add? I have some KENT essential elements. He is my first coral, i wanted to wait longer before getting them since my tank is only 4 weeks old or so, but he must have been there from the beginning because the tank cycled with the live rock already in it.

d'oh! i know i know i know... unfortunatly i dont have a digital camera, and even if i did, this browser thing doesnt let people post pics, at least i cant see them, so id have to wait until it is updated. Im pretty sure thats what it is, so i was wondering if there was any speacial care for them.

You should be able to post pictures now, otherwise i'd say just let him be, he survived the cycle so until you get a positive ID he should be fine. :D

good point. If hes survived there through the cycle for 3-4 weeks, he should in the the right conditions.
