Well, this is my 14g Oceanic BioCube. I have about 8 lbs of LR and a inch or so of LS. For filtration i took out the carbon from the cartridge and put in a Poly Filter. I run Phosguard and Purigen. I am going to upgrade my pump to a maxijuet 1200 and i am going to put a splitter in the outflow to direct the flow around. The curent tank mates are Popems the Cleaner Shrimp, Crush & Coral the True Percula Clowns, about 20 nassarius snails, 3 blue leg hermits, and somehow i got a turbo snail in there

Very nice! How long have you had it set up? You've got a lot of coraline already.

It has been set up for 3 weeks,i got the rock free with the tank and it was loaded with coralline and asterina stars! Unfortunately it also came loaded with aptasia, had a fireweorm, and this really skinny black worm that is like 3 inches long (not sure what it is) I have killed over 30 aptasia with the joes juice (some i think survived the dosing) and i got out that fireworm. I have only seen that other worm once and that was 3 days ago (i hope it is not a bad guy, i think all these hitch hikers are safe because they came out of a tank that was loaded with corals, inverts and fish. I wish i could get coralline like this in my 55 reef

Does anyone like the Pi / Stonehenge thing in the top middle? It is pure white because i chiseled it off a rock. Hopefully it will get loaded with coralline soon. Coralline is already growing on the glass like crazy.

funny you said that because i forgot to say i am getting peppermint shrimp and a queen conch in my mail order. I hope the peppermint will do their job because i have heard that iff they have lived in tanks with no aptasia and have been fed flake they will have lost their instinct to kill the aptasia.

corals should be on my doorstep by this friday at 10 am. I got a blue ricordea, orange ricordea, and a blue and green zoo rock. My next coral will probably be a finger leather or a colt coral. I have been dieing to put in blastos or acans but i have told not to do so by fellow SWF.com members.

Yeah, that rock was a tiny bit unstable and i figured a snail or fish might bump it so i fixed it and it is very stable now, it survived the jump test very well (jump test is when you jump up and down with some big thumpage to check for stability, works great!) thanks for the comment.

i dunno. water was from my reef, sand from my reef, LR from store, i let it cycle, and parameters are great. Thats a good notification of when you can get corals.

i am also going to make this thread into my tank diary. Corals, new shrimp, and a queen conch are coming in on friday morning.
And as if that isn't enough i am going to get some frags from my 55 reef. I am going to frag my colt coral, yellow polyps, hammer coral, some green zoos, my purple and yellow zoos, maybe some orange zoos, and that little mushroom polyp in the middle of big orange zoo colony. I am going to take pictures of the whole fragging experience.

I think something is wrong with one of my clowns. His gills are opening and closing wide and fast, He is not eating today, he is hardly swimming he is just swimming in place, and he has 3 dot like cuts behind his eye (you can see it on the picture witht the closeup of the two clowns, he is the clown in the back and the scars are in his first white stripe directly behind the eye). What's wrong with him ???
