MSB27...that is a beautiful tank for your first try at saltwater. How long have you had it up and running and are you using the DSB and skimmer method? Again beautiful tank.

The tank was started in mid Feb 2002. It has about 70 lbs of live rock and 80 lbs live sand and a plenum. The sand depth is close to four inches. I also run a Prizm skimmer.

Very nice looking system....looks like it is stable and has begun to mature. Continue the great job and keep us posted...my 55 is now about 19 months old and still surprises me every day!!!

Very nice! I have a 55 as well and hopefully one day will be able to support some corals. I would love to take some of that Xenia off your hands but unfortunately my lowly 40watt strip bulb cannot support them. What part of KY are you in? I have family in Owensboro, was born in Lousiville. GO WILDCATS!!!

Looks great. I am not too much of a mushroom fan, but that patch of them in the lower left looks awesome (the xenia looks nice as well).

the tank looks great.. i just have a question.. he has 9 fishes in there and no one said anything about overstocking.. he also have a yellow tang in there and no one said that the yellong tang would need a bigger tank.. etc.. etc.... i also have a 55 FOWLR and most of the posts i see here don't recommend so many fishes and adding a tang in a 55.. now i think that's weird....

definitely looks great..
if you have adequate filtration and no problems of harrassment between the fish, i don't see a prob. most of his fish are smaller varieties.. jmo. :)
