This is my green button polyps
Not much but a start

I started with the larger one that is dieing but there are a couple new starts coming up

Great looking tank! How much light do you have on that?

Well i will try to give alittle more specifics about it
The stand is homemade so thats why it looks so different
and i plan on eventually building a canopy for it but just haven't yet
It was started in early january
Has 51 lbs of tonga ridge rock (which was ordered online and was very pleased with) and around 20 pounds of base and rubble mixed through out the sand
I have
2 green chromis
2 Ocellaris clownfish
1 firefish
My clean up crew is lacking and needs alot more buddies
I have:
1 Gold banded shrimp
1 emerald crab
9 Nassarius snails
3 Queen Conches
and a few scarlet hermits
Corals:
3 mushrooms
green star polyps
green button polyps
and a frag of a leather
For fitration:
I have a penguin 330 that runs with no filters
Seaclone skimmer that doesn't work right
I have 4 powerheads in this tank:
3 are which the aquaclear pro power head 2
and 1 aquaclear pro power head 3
My future plans are to upgrade the lighting and getting a new skimmer that will be in a sump contained in the stand
Right now i have a 29 gallon tank that will be my refugium but since i am a broke college student it is being delayed till i get the return pump and overflow
I eventually plan on adding a jawfish and a mandarin once i get that refugium gowing

The lighting is weak right now
It consists of 2 36 inch bulbs one is a 10000k and the other is actinic
and 2 48 inch bulbs one is 10000k and the other is the 50/50
this is all normal out put

I will be adding more corals but i would light to upgrade my lighting first. I want to have a variety of different types. I want to eventually get 2 250 watt metal halide with a couple vho actinics.

In yetex post....The large mushroom on that rock, what kind is that? Its like a purple color. I have the same one, and its only one of it on the rock. I have 130 watts of Powercompact light on it. Before i had just a fluoresent light on it and it stretched out and was like a brown color. Now its looks like yours. Does that mean its doing bettier cause its not stretching towards the light?
