What size tank are you setting up? Are you going to use a sump? Will it be a reef tank or FOWLR?

It is a 125 gallon, i am going to use a 55 gallon for my sump/refugium, and it is going to be a reef with a few fish, so far i have planned to have a Sohal Tang, Achilles Tang, some Gobies and a damn good clean up crew. i might get a few green chomis too

King i could see a major aggression issue comeing along here......The sohal is one of the most beligerent tangs in the aquarium trade imo, therefore seeing that the achilles tang is a more delicate and docile species i would say that the achilles would be stressed., and not only that the sohal maxes out at somewhere between 10-16 inches....which imo wouldnt leave him or her much room in a 125....... if you have any other questions about them feel free to ask.

Correct. I would go with a different stocking list.

so you guys think a sohal and achilles would have issues even in a reef setting with lots of caves? i know the sohal gets big but i really want one and of course i would have future plans for him when it came to be that time.

I am dying to get rid of a Sohal Tang that grew to large for my 55. Want to buy him? He is at least 5 inches long.

Even if you get lots of caves that will make your sohal want to come out even more and if he comes out even more then your sohal tang won't have that much swimming space It would of been better if you had got atleast a 180 gallon+.

Were you joking about taking it in consideration? Because you really should unless you don't want a sohal tang.
