First reef tank project done

My first and easiest project is done, they are my Durso Standpipes. Very simple to make and cheap too. i think i have $18 in the material

Pipe looks good! We decided to set up a 90 reef ready, just couldn't get out of the hobby altogeather, got the tank from bill a week ago and just got pipes done too been working on the sump now, sectioned off and enclosed half of the stand and am building the sump right it the stand out of 1/4" acylic this way I can maxamize the space as I want. I'm gong with a Aqua C EV-180. On your stnad pipe take a peice of airline tubing and use that for your air intake if you make to hole for it small so the airline fits snug you can adjust the tubing up and down inside the drain and find the "sweet spot" that will even make it quieter than it already is I have a air valve/muffler on the air intake tube on the top of the durso standpipe that can be adjusted also. I'll keep you updated on the progress!
