Any suggestion would be more than welcome. Im not getting much out of the skimmer at all. Its been half filled one time. Is this normal?

looks good. You won't get much out of the skimmer if it is newly setup. Give it time, you will see cranking!

I didn't know they made 72g bowfronts with built in overflows...who makes your tank?

Your tank looks great! Nice aquascaping and setup.
Has it finished the nitrogen cycling? Once it has, and you add some fish or corals, or even plants to the refugium, you will see some junk in the skimmer cup.
