first test also on a 55 gallon tank

my tests with a 55 gallon tank just a little more than 2 weeks old..maybe 3 weeks are
salinity 1.024
.75ppm ammonia
5.0 ppm Nitrite
.20ppm Nitrate
Is my tank cycling well?
are the nitrites supposed to be so high?

Yep. Cycling well. As the nitrites come down then the nitrates will go up, just be patient.
