looks good but my opinion is you should swap the drain and the return around . So the water coming from the display goes through the rock and chetto then to your open chamber where you skimmer is located . Then back to your display tank . But thats just my opinion of how I would run it.
(EDITED TO ADD MORE INFO) YOu will also want to add a ball valve on the plumbing from the drain to the sump it will help to control water flow to the sump. As well as make the drain less noisy.

The outake doesn't come back into the tank through the overflow. I think you use a pump and it comes back in behind and up into the tank, like a canister filter.
Actually it does run back up through the over flow on reef ready tanks then the plumbing exits back into the tank via a u shaped cut in the overflow box .

3-4 inch sand bed might be a little over kill too . I have never had a sand bed over 2 inches deep . and with all the chetto and LR you have planned there is gonna be plenty of denitrifying bactiria in the sump .

You might be fine. But I would run a skimmer just to be safe . With aggressive fish you can't go wrong with over filtering the water . Especially with messy eaters .
