Thanks, I like it too. I got that base rock at Aquarium Arts and knew exactly what I was going to do with it when I saw it. I have some smaller caves on the other side, but it's hard to pick it up with the camera. I was at AA yesterday and they have some GREAT new base rock with big holes and arches, but I'm not about to redo my rock work.

And he is from Hong Kong and disables posting,I wonder why

My sister-in-law is Chinese, and her brother-in-law has a 100 gallon tank in his home with - literally - over about 200 Koi. The fish cannot move without bumping in to one another.
It is heartbreaking. The Chinese consider the Koi to be good luck and to have a tank in your home is supposed to bring wealth and fortune. My SIL says they started with 20 or so several years ago and they have multiplied. SO SAD!

OH, by the way, azfishgal, I thought your video was beautiful! You seem to have a pretty strong current in your tank and the fish look like they are enjoying it. I have seen yellow gobies sift before but I have never seen one pick up a mouthful, swim upward and showed the sand down! Amazing! :)

The pictures on this thread are in my diary, you just have to go back a few pages.

Thanks, I owe the strong current to my Koralia phs, LOVE THEM! All the fish seem to have a good time playing in the current. My Sleeper Goby is very fun to watch, but I have to be careful what I put on the sand, as he will cover it in sand.

Well, that's actually what sent me over the edge.
J/K I was at AA (Aquarium Arts) again today and couldn't walk out without dropping $120. I got my Blue Hippo Tang
, an open brain, and a fuzzy mushroom. I'll take pics and post in my diary once they are all acclimated. My Royal Gramma is now in the DT and hiding, but I found him in a small hole in one of my live rocks. Probably won't see him come out for a few days.

Both powerheads are 850 gph each and my return is 875 gph (though I'm sure I lose some as it's going up about 4'. So together that would be 2,575, tank is 125 gallons, so the turn over is about 20xs per hour, probably a little less because of the 4' return line. I have both my loc lines split with a "Y" and have one line on each side pointing toward the back wall, both powerheads are pointing toward the center glass so hopefully I don't have any dead spots. It's working out good so far.
I actually have to be creative in where I'm placing my corals because some don't like the heavy flow, so it takes a few times to find a medium flow area. Maybe that will mean I can grow some good SPS in the future.

Video looks great, when are you planning on adding your other tangs besides the regal? I'm sure they would love it. I'm looking a sailfin as well. Here is my current project. Is your tank the 72" long version of the 125G like mine? I put the rock/sand in the past few days and am waiting on it to settle/cycle so I can get rid of my current 55G.

Scorp, it took me a while to stop laughing from your avatar.
Oh my, that's priceless.

OK, whipping the tears from my eyes, so I can type. Yes, my tank is 72" long. Regal tang will be in Hypo/QT for 4 weeks, then I will add her to the DT, then I'll add three Lyretail Anthias, Sailfin Tang, then the Yellow Tang last. Every new fish will be in Hypo/QT for 4 weeks before going into the DT. Soooooo, that's means I should have my tank full of the fish I want in 4 months.
(Wow, didn't seem that long until I just said it.
) But, going slow is the name of the game when it comes to saltwater and I want to try and do everything I can to keep my tank parasite free. I might get unlucky one of these days, but I figure doing it this way will also be easier on my wallet.

the video quality was chopped because it was hosted on a free site, they covert the files to a more compact format that degrades picture quality, photobucket is the same way, the video quality was proibably higher if you watch the version you have on your comp as opposed to what you have online you'll see the difference I think.
Nice tank, I have enjoyed watching it progress.

You are right about that. I watched it on my computer before I put it on line and was very happy with it, but once it was on line it didn't look nearly as good.
Kind of a bummer because you don't see the true colors in my tank.

I use the Little Giant (4-MDQ-SC) pump (875 gph), but it's not a submersible. I personally don't like submersibles because they can heat up your water, and they take to much room in your sump. Besides, If I ever decided to go with a larger pump it would be easy to switch out. This pump does just fine for me though, I do recomend it.
