Fish and Coral Diets

i need your opinions on what good foods are to feed my fish and corals. all i feed now are flake, pellet, and mysis shrimp. i dont have any corals yet but i plan on getting some once my tanks renovations are done. im looking for a varied diet with a bunch of stuff for my fish and corals. any recommendations?

As far as fish go i feed mine...mysis, bloodworms, marine cuisine, brine(occasionally) cyclopzeeze...that's about it. Try to feed frozen more than the flakes or pellets bc I've read that that pollutes your water. As far as corals go...I think it depends on the types of corals your getting. Some don't need fed at all...most of the time I see people feeding mysis and cut up shrimp to some of the corals. I'd say ask about the corals when you decide what you want. A lot of the time when you order corals it'll tell you if they need to be fed anything special. Hope this helps

i feed nine just frozen mysis, formula one or two, and angel supreme. the food i feed my duncans and brains r frozen krills.

thanks guys. i think i'll try formula 1, mysis, cyclopeeze...and the occasional pellet only when someone is watching my tank.

It is a good idea to vary their diet to hit as many of the food groups as possible

definitely. is my list ok? or can someone post an example list of a varied diet i can use. all my fish are omnivorous or carnivorous i plan to have.
