Wed. night I lost power due to the two tornados, that hit my road. they came withen 100yds of my house. I bout lost all my tanks they went 2 days with no power, the temps fell really low for a few days till I found a genrator. Now going on day 4 with no power thank god I have friends with power(and hot shower) Should I do water change or will it really stress the tank out more since it went 2 days with out power, the tank now has power from a genrater, its been running now for 1 day.

I'm so happy you are alright considering the horrible news I have seen on TV about the latest tornados. If you can do a water change it would be good I'm sure. Do some water tests then you can and decide on what to do according to those results. If the test read in the safe zones I wouldn't put putzing with my tank on the list of an already stress filled time.

Check your water quality and make sure everything is stable before doing any water changes.

I added a few pics the pics of this one traveled 20 miles E4. There has been 11 deaths in our county over 200 homes destroyed, 7 tornados came thur that night. I cant belive my house is still here. Im lucky my fish are ok and coral is ok after no power.

Man you are a dedicated individual to your SWF. If that happened I would be postin I am glad I'm alive (which is good to hear you are ok).
This was a sequence of natural disasters, with a VERY SAD outcome. My thoughts and prayers are with those of you who are going though adversity because of the tornado's.

Glad you are okay.
Personally, I would start using Stability and keep some prime on hand. If you use the Stability as a preventative measure it will help when/if the ammonia spike comes. I normally don't like to add any chemicals to my tank but it has been a life saver for me a couple of times.

WOW! I'm so glad you (and your fish) are okay! Those pictures are just shocking to me. I live somewhere that this just doesn't happen....
Check the parameters, etc. If you add Prime, it can mess with your numbers and give you false readings, so don't add too much. If parameters are okay, I'd let it be until it's time for a scheduled water change. If for some reason there is another set of storms set to come through, I'd do a water change in case I lost power for a few days again, but protect yourself first!
