Fish Capacity and Choices!

SO far in my 24 gallon FOWLR I have one 1.5 inch False Percula clownfish. I have a Fuval 204 canister filter, a Eclipse top (w/filter). I also have 2 dual flouresent bulbs, one blue, the other white. The two filters provide very good water move ment. I also have a heater, a 1.5 inch LS bed, 24 pounds of LR, and 2 hermit crabs. This is my list of eventual inhabitants-
3 more Hermit Crabs
1 (some kind of) Shrimp
4-5 Feather Dusters
1 Royal Gramma or Firefish or Neon Goby(which is better?)
1 Hifin Cardinal or Six-Line wrasse
1 Coral Beauty or
3 Chromis (instead of 2 others)
Which ones would you choose, and are there any others you would add? My LFS said about 4 fish max. Which fish are compatible?
Thanks for all of your helP! :D

The general rule is one inch per five gallons. So that leaves you with roughly four and half inches of fish to play with. Any of those fish sound fine, I have a royal gramma and really like the colors - eventhough he hides a lot.

Six line wrasse might not be a good choice if you want hermit crabs, they will nip at them and eat them, and may even nip at smaller fish.

as said, general rule is 1 inch ..........
the false is a 3 inc fish(at maturity), so you dont' want a lot more for fish
my choice, would be the fire fish, easy to care for, high resistance ot disease and very colorful, jsut make sure your tank has no openings, they will jump
the cardinal will be better with crabs
or a green chromis or 2
jus t remembe rthat when get fish, figure the size that they will become, not the size when you buy because they will grow(not to the size of the tank)

basically if there are any openings on the hood, just make sure they are closed up as to prevent the fish from jumping out of the tank.

And Possibly a Hifin Cardinal?
