the most we ever paid was for my yellow tang...there were better deals out there, but there was a certian tang I wanted at one of the lfs....
other than than 9.99 for our clowns, and $3-5 for the damsels.
once we have a house and I know we won't be moving...i'll be more willing to spend more (plus, once I make more I'll be able to hide what the fish cost from my husband)

We paid $110.00 for a 12" Hippo Tang once. ( Unaware that in the next following weeks, he would pass from illness )
Words of Wisdom: Don't buy a fish from the LFS without watching it for a while. Let the person @ the LFS feed it so you can see it eat. We made that mistake.
We've never bought a fish on the internet. When we decide on what we want, we can't wait for it to come in the mail.. we have to have it right away. This damn hobby! - Tara
