Fish Died

I did a water change tonight and not but 10 minutes later my blue tang died. I had him for over 4 months and it was doing great. In fact I feed my fish earlier and he ate like a champ. Does anybody know any possible causes? I've done many other water changes and he had been fine. Oh well.

im with JWT on this, sounds like there was something in your water that you did a change with. did you test your change water for salinity and ph? even if there appeared to be nothing wrong with the other fish you have to guess that tangs are just more sensitive to anything wrong in the water.

tangs are the canarys of the fish keeping world. they are the fist to die if anything goes wrong

I don't know what happened. I have a percula and a koran angel and they are fine. I guess it got so stressed out it gave itself a heart attack.
