fish dying need some help

have a 60, gallon fish only had 3 small triggers,clown trigger died niger on way out thought it was ick been reading other posts think its velvet fish looks like it has been dusted in flour clown was dead in 2 days is there a thread that deals with velvet symptons and cures also where did it come from had no new additions in months could it be frozen shrimp or silverslides

Not likely a parasite, velvet, if you really have not introduced anything in months. Have any pictures? Give some more specific details on symptoms.

sorry no camera but originally i thought it was ick but fish look like they are dusted finer dots than ick covering almost whole fish cloudy eyes when clown trigger died his mucus layer was peeling

Breathing rapidly? Velvet really dust look more like powder than specs.
