Fish eating other fish poo

So I saw my tang eat some poo from another fish, pretty damn gross. Is this harmful to the fish? Can it cause disease?

Nope...it's digested food, if they don't like it they spit it out.

thats what i thought too, but I had seaweed on a clip, i guess maybe he wanted a different dish...

Well, he may have mistaken the poo for the seaweed.....kinda look similiar. Now that would be a revolting suprise!
