Fish eating your shrimp?

In the past two months i have lost a fire shrimp and a cleaning shrimp. Only the shell was found after. Do you think my fish are killing the shrimp and eating him live? Or could it be that the shrimp died for some other reason and then the fish ate him?
Are you supposed to feed your shrimp because i noticed only once in awhile he would get the food i dropped in the tank.

Are you positive your shrimp are gone and it's not the molt you have been finding? They tend to leave the molt away from their hiding spots because their new shells are soft and they become more vulnerable. If your fish are eating them they won't peel the shell off. Look thoroughly in your LR to see if they might be hiding.
A list of your fish might help narrow down the culprit if you can't find them.
