fish for a 30

what kind of fish would be good for a 30 gallon reef?...i was thinking 1 powder blue tang(small)and not really sure about any other...any sugestions would be great

I learned the hard way you cant keep fish such as Tangs, and Angles in tanks that small anyone on here will tell you that. It sucks but they grow faster than anything and before you know it you'll have to get a much larger tank or get rid of the fish. When i had my 30 gal i kept a couple of different clown fish. You may think they are not as cool as the Tangs but they will do waaaaay better in your tank than a Tang.

well i was planing on geting a 100 gallon in about 7 months or when ever i can get the money so i guese ill wait till i get that for the tangs...any sugestions for fish that would do good in a 30 gallon reef? (any besides clown..already have 2 of them in my 12)

clown gobys, firefish, sixline wrasse, carpenter wrasse, chromis
...are all fairly safe bets, they dont get to big, play well with others, and won't graze on corals.

powders can grow. kinda big. i dont think you want to buy it. how about some clowns
