fish for a 55 gallon?

After an incident today where my 12inch snowflake made a snack out of a newly purchased peppermint shrimp, I have decided he had to go. But being very attached to him, I decided he would not go far. I have talked my sister-in-law out of a 55 that was in her shed. It'll be at least a week before I can get the tank and the snowy is hanging out in my 10 gallon hospital for now.
Once I get the tank setup I was wondering what to put in with the snowy. My wife loves triggers and I thought it would be nice to get one. Is a 55 big enough for a snowy and a trigger? If so which one should I go with?
I thought perhaps a Picasso?
Would this pretty much fill the tank?
Your thoughts are appreciated.

Doh...
Wife isn't going to like that....
She likes puffers too. I know these guys get pretty big, but is there any that will fit comfortably in a 55? Full grown? I don't want to get into another/bigger tank mode. Next thing you know I'll be like PufferLover :D :D
I like the lion idea, but as she has been patient with me, this tank will probably be hers and she is not that crazy about lions...

you can get a puffer with the eel, maybe a blue throat trigger? dwarf lion like stated above, anything that stays about 8 inches full grown and cant fit in the snowflkaes mouth when you get it should be fine.

there are a couple small puffer species around. i just came from an lfs an saw about ten different kinds big and small i never seen before. but triggers are more active in a tank.
