Fish ID help please

Looks like it might be a honeycomb grouper but im not totally sure. Sorry i can't be of more help.

Thanks! A friend had her aquarium stand go up in flames last night with this guy in it. He suvived but needs a home. I'm acclimating him now but want to make sure he won't hurt my stock. I have an emerald crab about the size of a quarter, a damsel he could eat if he wanted to

2 chromis and my adorable Naso Tang (MiMi). Do you think I'll be OK?

Depending on his size he could go after the crab, but I think he will be OK

They like snails and other inverts. I really wish they were reef safe, cuz if they were, I'd love a hawkfish.. all the ones i've seen have really good personalities and are really neat to watch.
