New Filefish wondering if you guys new what kind he is. more green than picture shows.

It's a filefish...not sure specific kind tho, I'll c if I can find it

look up filefish at fishbase.org and it'll give you options to how many spine fins etc. Seing as I don't know anything about them I suggest you do it cuz you know personaly what it looks like.

it looks like some sort of cow fish or what ever they are called.

looks like Acreichthys tomentosus. some call them bristle-tailed, leatherjackets. they range from dark green through brown.

i think this is him thanks. he was at the LFS and had been there for two weeks hiding and eating well. he is now in the tank. he goes to the low flow areas and hangs out. eating brine and freshwater mysis with no problems. Still not attacking the apastia yet but is one heck of a looker with great personality. For only $10 bucks and possible getting rid of the apastia i recommend this fish. Will update if he rids me of my problem
