Fish ID Please

That is a nice looking fish. Didn't the lfs you bought him from tell you what kind of fish it is?

I did not buy him from an lfs. This is a picture from a scubadiving web site based is Hawaii. I would like to find one and buy one but I need to know the name first so that I can dig up some info on him.

I could be wrong, but...
It looks a lot like a Juv. Garabaldi that my LFS has for about $60. If that one is a Juv. Garabaldi, be warned that Garabaldi
perfer cooler water
get huge!
and are still damsels (damsel personality)
They lose their blue coloration and turn orange as the mature.
Beautiful fish, though.

ILove2Ride is correct, it is a juv. garibaldi, Hypsypops rubicunda
they come from california and surrounding waters and get big! Up to 36cm. The adult coloration is solid orange. They are extremely aggressive and are not a good community fish.
Looks nice but I would not recommend. I have had much expierance with this fish.

yep....my lfs has one and it's labeled a girabaldi....they even turned me away from it!
