Fish ID?

I saved this little guy from death at my local fish store, they told me they were making more room for new stock and where going to throw him away. So I brought him home. They said he is a moon wrasse but I'm not sure since his colors are so poor, I fed him once and his color started to come back. Any ideas on what type of wrasse?

I know! They also had a Green Spotted Puffer that they let his beak overgrow and they are just letting him starve to death!! I was pretty upset. I would have taken him too but I wasn't sure what else to do for him at that point It was really over grown!

Things we can tell, it's Thalassoma-genus wrasse, that's for sure. And a small one, still somewhat in juvenile coloration. The stress pattern and him being in a shaded spot for the photo it's making ID'ing the species challenging.
Them calling it a "Moon wrasse," hints that it might be a Lunare, as 'Moon wrasse' is a synonym (another commonname) for Lunares. But I don't think so. The spot on the very front of the dorsal fin is not present on juvi Lunares. If I was forced to guess, I would say either a Thalassoma jansenii -- Jansen's wrasse, or a Thalassoma hebraicum -- Goldbar wrasse.
Let the wrasse relax for a few days, and feed lots of PE mysis. After his regular colors come back, take another pic, and we should be able to pin down the ID.
